  • Solid & Springy with Eric

    This class combines active, mobile, vinyasa-oriented practice with poses sustained for longer duration, along with calming, energizing breath practice and rest. This class is meant for students with at least six months of experience. Modifications for injuries and physical restrictions are offered.

  • Monday 8:15 PM with Eric

    Unwind from your day with asana, breathing, and meditation. This class strikes a balance between movement and stillness, liveliness, and rest, energy and fluidity. It's a great way to set your evening into a good space and to pave the way for a sound night’s sleep at the start of the week! Class is held in the studio and on Zoom.

Tuesday

  • Turning Tuesdays

    -

    The turning salutation is a vinyasa form that is inspired by the structure and sequence of surya namaskar, the sun salutation. As with sun salutations, the progression of the sequence begins and ends standing at the front of the mat, with downward-facing dog serving as a pivot in the middle of the cycle. Unlike the sun salutation, turning salutations include asanas that involve rotation and sidebending. Turning salutations encourage healthy movement in the body in all planes and directions. The turning salutation supports strength, flexibility, endurance and coordination, and is highly adaptable to different needs, interests, and capacities.

    This is an intermediate-level class. Previous experience with yoga is a prerequisite. Injuries or movement restrictions are not a barrier to attendance. We work with where you are.

  • Tuesday Fundamentals with Eric

    This is a fundamentals class with Eric that is appropriate for beginners, as well as more experienced students wanting guidance and refinement of their yoga practice.

  • Thursday Morning Experienced with Eric (Online)

    This is an experienced class with Eric that is appropriate for people who are comfortable with greater physical intensity in asana practice, and are also able to manage longer cycles of inhalation, exhalation, and pause within the breath. Class is held on Zoom.

    Gentle Yoga with Audrey at Solaluna

  • Yoga With Resistance with Eric

    -

    This active asana class will use sandbags and other weights combined with body weight to build greater strength and mobility. We will explore variations and modifications to suit each person’s practice, offering a unique and playful twist to more formal asana that will leave you feeling strong, centered, and balanced. We will also investigate the use of weights to help settle the mind and body in more quiet, introspective practices such as restorative poses, breathing, and sitting. If you are doing the class online, it will work best if you have either a 12 pound sandbag or 2 ankle weights. Dumbbells or kettlebells can work for some of the activities.

    This is an intermediate class with Eric that is appropriate for people who are comfortable with greater physical intensity in asana practice, and are also able to manage longer cycles of inhalation, exhalation, and pause within the breath. Class is in-person and available on Zoom.

  • Saturday Morning Intermediate with Eric

    -

    This is an intermediate class with Eric that is suitable for people who are familiar with wide footed standing poses, and are comfortable with bearing weight on the arms and wrists in plank poses.
