Yoga with Resistance, Friday 12:15-1:15 PM

The use of external weight (such as a sandbag) in yoga practice offers fresh perspective and possibilities for both active and restful practice. In this class we will investigate the myriad ways in which a sandbag can be used to amplify and clarify asanas, movement, rest, breathing, and even meditation.

If you are doing the class online, it will work best if you have either a 12 pound sandbag, ankle weights, or a bag of dried beans, grain (not flour!), or pet food.
